The English I grading policy has changed. Students will now be graded as follows:
Daily Work: 10%
(Quality contribution to the class that demonstrates your knowledge of the material)
Small Assignments: 20%
(Assignments that focus on comprehension and the developmental skills needed to be
successful in this class)
Class Projects and Quizzes: 30%
(Any skills based assignments that provide scaffolding for the summative assessment)
Summative Assessments: 40%
(Assessments that lend themselves to mastery of skills)
